Indian Army recently released a notification for the recruitment of Technical Entry Scheme in march 2021. As stated in the official notification there are 46 posts vacant in total.
This year a new addition to eligibility has been made i.e. JEE Mains has been made compulsory for TES Entry from TES-46 Course Onwards. Any candidate who has completed his/her Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or PCM with an aggregate of 60% and between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age are eligible to apply online for the job.
The TES 45 Course will start in January 2022. The selected candidates will be given the grant from Permanent Commission in the Army after four years of Basic Military Training and Technical Training. The detailed terms and conditions given in the succeeding paragraphs.

About Indian Army TES
The term TES stands for Technical Entry Scheme. As its name suggests, it is a technical entry to get into Indian army as an officer. TES is almost like UES and TGC entries of Indian army, but in case of UES and TGC candidates apply for it after completing their engineering degree from any institute from outside, whereas TES is an opportunity for the aspirants to join the technical branch of Indian army after 10+2. However as per the vacancies candidates can join other fields as well like infantry, artillery etc.

Candidates who have passed the 12th Examination or its equivalent with a minimum percentage of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for this entry. The eligibility condition for calculating the PCM percentage of various state /central boards will be based on marks obtained in Class 10+2 only.

Indian Army TES Recruitment 2021 Pay Scale
The gentlemen cadets will be given a salary of ₹ 56,100/-per month as is admissible to NDA cadets on completion of 3 years training. On completion of 4 Years training, they will be commissioned in the rank of Lieutenant and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank.
Military Service Pay (MSP):– MSP to the officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier ₹15,500/- per month fixed.

Indian Army TES Recruitment 2021 Allowances
Dearness Allowance:- allowable at constant rates and beneath constant condition as square measure applicable to the civilian personnel from time to time.
Kit Maintenance Allowance:- Subsumed into the new projected Dress Allowance i.e ₹20,000/-per year
Field space allowances:- relying upon rank and space of posting
Indian Army TES Recruitment 2021 Selection Process
(a) Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of cut percentage as decided by the Rtg Dte.
(b) Shortlisted candidates will be informed through e-mail or SMS regarding their Selection Centre allotment.
(c) After the allotment of selection centers , candidates have to select their SSB dates which will be on first cum first serve basis. They can do it by logging in to respective Selection Centre links forwarded trough e-mail.
(d) Selected candidates will have to face a Services Selection Board (SSB) interview usually held at Bhopal, Bengaluru or Allahabad each year.
(e) Duration of SSB interview will be five days. During the stay at SSB, Candidates will be put through Psychological Tests, Group Tests and an Personal Interview.
(f) Candidates have to go through stage – I of the selection procedure on the first day. Only candidates who will be successful shall be asked to stay for balance of the testing. Candidates who will be unsuccessful in stage – I, will return on the first day itself. Stage I is basically psychologically originated tests including intelligence tests.
(g) Successful aspirants at the SSB will be required to undergo medical tests that last normally from 3 to 5 days less Sundays and gazetted holidays.
(h) Candidates selected and shortlisted by the SSB also declared medically sound, will be sent for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of total vacancies available at that time.
(j) The final list of selected candidates will sign all the Bonds/Certificates as prescribed for the Cadets of NDA entry under Al 53/78. (k)
Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for a particular type of commission will be given for AC III tier to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation cum sleeper expenses within the Indian army limits. Candidates who are applying again for the same type of commission will not be given any travelling allowance on any occasions.
