The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has not yet confirmed the examination date for Assistant Sub Inspector post. The last date for the submission application to unit commanders is 5th of February 2021. What is CISF?
CISF is an armed force of the Union established under an Act of Parliament, “Central Industrial Security Force Act, 1968 (50 of 1968)”. In the year 1969, the strength of the force established with the help of 3129 personnel, was increased to 1,41,421 as of 01.03.2020. CISF has 12 reserve battalions, 08 training institutes and 63 other formations. According to the mandate, CISF provides security to the premises staff along with the security of property and establishments. CISF is providing security to the strategic establishment, including the Department of Space, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Airports, the Delhi Metro, the ports, the historical monuments and the basic areas of Indian economy such as petroleum and natural gas, electricity, coal, steel and mining. CISF is providing protection to some private sector units and important government buildings in Delhi.

CISF ASI Recruitment Exam 2021 Eligibility Standards
NOTE:- Only Head Constable/ GD, Constable/ GD and Constable/ Tradesmen who have completed 5 years regular service including the period of basic training in the grade or 5 years combined regular service as head constable/ GD, Constable/ GD, Constable/ Tradesmen, as on 01.08.2020, are eligible for LDCE.

Graduation from any recognized university.

Maximum age for the LDCE is 35 years. He/ She must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1985

Selection Procedure For ASI Post
- Stage-I - Checking of service record
- Stage-II - Written Examination
- Stage-III- Physical Standard Test
- Stage-IV - Physical Efficiency Test
- Stage-V- Detained Medical Examination
It should be ensured that candidate must have good or above good ACRs for the last 05 years and unblemished service record.
Written examination will comprise of OMR based question paper. Total questions will be of 200 marks and time duration will be 3/1/2 hours.
The candidate must pass the physical standard as mentioned in Eligibility criteria.
The candidate have to pass physical test consisting of, i) 1.6 Kms race ii) 100 m race, iii) High jump iv) Long jump, v) Shot put.
The medical examination of the candidate will be conducted as per rules mentioned above in Eligibility Standards.
